Perhaps it's just because I realize how many pages I have to do, so I no longer spend as much time per page as I used to, but in the last couple of years, my pages have gotten much more simplified. The pictures have become more the focal point, and although there are a few embellishments, I'm more likely to use a simple spot color or bit of text instead.
That's what's so fun about scrappin'! You can use really different approaches when making pages. I can tend to get in a rut so it's good for me to see this post!
